Free from the conflicts of interest that often arise within an organization, we investigate alleged violations of anti-discrimination, harassment, bullying, and sexual harassment policies in workplaces and educational settings. With over fifteen years of investigation and litigation experience, we understand the legal landscape underpinning the relevant policies, and counsel clients to mitigate liability arising from misconduct. We work with clients to identify potential systemic issues while addressing specific complaints. Treating the parties with respect and professional courtesy throughout the investigation, we provide our clients with investigation reports that comport with the requirements of each client’s policy and reflect the comprehensive nature of our investigations.
In addition to serving as external investigators, we train in-house personnel on a range of issues from specific workplace policies to conducting internal investigations consistent with legal obligations. Training is always customized to the client. We design our programs to focus on specific policies and orient participants to the legal impetus for those policies. Using our own experience as investigators and litigators, we provide practical guidance for creating a policy-compliant workplace.
